Common questions
End-of-lease cleaning (also called bond, vacate or move-out cleaning) is a deep, end-of-tenancy clean done to the exact standard property managers inspect against when you hand back the keys. It covers every room top to bottom so you can claim your full bond back.
Every room, room by room: the kitchen (oven, cooktop, rangehood, cupboards), bathrooms (shower, screens, tiles, toilet), bedrooms and living areas, the laundry, plus skirting boards, switches, doors, spot-cleaned walls and a final detail before sign-off. Carpet steam cleaning and pest control are optional add-ons.
Most properties range from $189 for a studio to $549+ for a large home. You always get a fixed quote up front, the quote is the price, with no hidden fees or callout charges.
We guarantee the clean. If your property manager flags anything on the original move-out checklist within 72 hours of the inspection, we return and re-clean those areas free of charge. Bond decisions also depend on property damage and rent, which sit outside cleaning.
Carpet steam cleaning is an optional add-on, not part of the standard clean. Many leases require it if the property had carpet, just ask and we'll include it in your quote.
Most jobs take 3 to 6 hours depending on the size and condition of the property. We'll give you an estimated window when we confirm your booking.
No. Most customers arrange a key, lockbox or agent access so they don't have to be there. Just share the access plan when you book.
We operate across Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, with same-week availability in most suburbs. Head to your city page for local pricing, reviews and suburb coverage.
Local Bunch Cleaning Co. arranges a network of independent, insured local cleaning providers. When you request a quote we match you with a vetted local partner in your area, and your bond-back guarantee is honoured by the crew assigned to your clean.
Often yes, we keep same-week availability across every city we cover. Tell us your handover date and we'll find the earliest slot that works.
Not automatically. Across Australia you only have to return the property reasonably clean and in the same condition as the start of your tenancy, fair wear and tear aside. A general lease clause demanding professional cleaning is not always enforceable, so check the rules for your state. Most renters still book a professional clean because it is the fastest way to meet the inspection standard and avoid a dispute over the bond.
Report any issue within 72 hours of the final inspection and we return to re-clean the flagged areas free of charge. The re-clean covers areas on the original move-out checklist, and the property needs to be vacant and in the same condition as when it was cleaned. That 72-hour window is the heart of the bond-back guarantee.
A standard clean does not cover mould remediation beyond surface cleaning, pest control or carpet steam cleaning unless added on, rubbish or furniture removal, work above two storeys or on a roof, repairs, painting or wall patching, or garden and lawn maintenance. Carpet steam cleaning and pest control can be added to your quote if your lease requires them, just ask when you book.
They work through the move-out checklist room by room: the oven, cooktop, rangehood and cupboards in the kitchen, the shower, screens, tiles and toilet in the bathrooms, floors, skirting boards, switches, door handles and built-in wardrobes through the bedrooms and living areas, the laundry, and a final detail of walls, doors and vents. Anything on that checklist that is missed can put your bond at risk, which is why the clean is done to the exact standard they inspect against.
Three things mainly: the size of the property, its condition when you move out, and any add-ons your lease needs. Pricing runs from $189 for a studio to $549+ for a large home, and add-ons like carpet steam cleaning, pest control or exterior windows are quoted on top. You always get a fixed quote up front, so the quote is the price with no hidden fees or callout charges.
We accept cash, credit card and bank transfer. Your fixed quote is confirmed up front before the clean, and your local crew confirms the payment details when you book, so there are no surprises on the day.
Yes. Local Bunch Cleaning Co. arranges a network of independent local providers who are fully insured and police-checked. When you request a quote we match you with a vetted crew in your area, and the bond-back guarantee is honoured by the crew assigned to your clean.
